I live in nyc how does delivery and setup of this bed work for me if I purchased this from you.
I need it setup in my apt, along with old bed removed.
What kind of motors does this unit use - make and brand - are they quiet smooth operation - any maintenance the user needs to do to the motors or other areas of the bed.
I would be interested in the Trendelenberg model in queen
Bed set up service is only available in Southern California at extra cost. But we do not offer service to remove the old bed.
If you need help in setting it up and removing old bed, you can pay your friend or neighbor to do it for you maybe at lower cost.
It uses a motor that is quiet enough for use with home care environment. Detailed information about how to use and maintain the bed is described in the manual. Basically you do not need to much unusual for the maintenance. The bed is one of the only queen size homecare beds on the market that offer Trendelenberg function. You can choose the ones with Trendelenberg control box and remote controller.

The purchase of the bed is not covered. This is a bariatric full electric hospital bed that can adjust the height of the bed electrically. You can not put a regular queen size mattress on it. The mattress will be damaged. You need a hospital mattress specifically used for hospital bed. You can select the package that comes with the bed frame, mattress and rails. The rails are virtually given to you free of charge in the package. If you purchase the bed and mattress separately, you will pay more than the package price.
