| | | I am looking for a fully electric bed, no cranks, that raises in height electronically to a minimum of 30" withouth the mattress; therefore with the mattress a total minimum of 36". I can only seem to find 24" from floor to top of bed without mattress. I am 5' 7" and at the rehab., or in hospitals beds raise much higher for purposes of moving a patient in bed or bathing or changing bedding. I am 61 and going to be taking care of my 87 year old mom at home. I have terrible back, neck, etc. arthritis. I need to find the same type of bed for home as they have in the rehab and hospital as it relates to the height. Of course, the bed will then be lowered back down for my mom to get in and out of when she is able to. Please. I am desperate for information. Thank you, Colleen | | For such a height, you will need to consider a long term care bed since none of the homecare style beds can raise so high. The following model is recommended since it can meet all your needs.

| | hi
my dad is looking for a hospital bed where the head part comes up more than 60 degrees
any advise? | | Most of our homecare style beds can go up to 60 degrees (but not more). All of the long term care beds that we carry can go with 70 degrees or more. Some can go even 75 degrees or 80 degrees. http://ucanhealth.com/long_term_care_beds.htm |
| | Where are you located? I'm in Orange County, CA.
I'm looking for a double/full size hospital bed that is full electric.
Do you have one? And what is the price? | | According to industrial standard, all standard hospital beds are of the same width - 36" (like twin size but not called this way) holding 400 - 450 lbs. Hospital bed wider than this is categorized as bariatric hospital with higher weight capacity. Although you may not need higher weight capacity, there is no such a "double / full size" hospital bed with less than 450 lbs capacity on the market. Therefore, you need to consider a bariatric hospital bed if you want wider size.
