Yes, it can raise up and lower down to make it easy to transfer. The mattress is 7" bariatic foam mattress that is comfortable for most patients.
What type of electrical socket is required for this bed?
The bed is for house hold use in the USA. A standard 110V socket should work.
do you have used beds at a lower price
We do not carry used beds. All of hospital beds are brand new at deep discount that may not be significantly higher than used products and under warranty. Please be advised that warranty only covers brand new products.
will humana ins. or medacare pay any anything on it.I have to sleep in a recliner can not lay flat.
As we know, medicare will not pay for the product at all. You need to check with your insurance company to see if they would cover some of the cost. In fact, most of the customers paid by themselves.
Is this bed available with a 50Hz motor? If so, when will it be shipped once ordered? I am also interesting in the WLo458-IFpkg, I understand that bed has a 50Hz motor.
The Bariatric bed is designed and tested for 60 HRZ. It will run hotter and slower with 50 HRZ. While the motor is protected it probably isn’t a safety issue but it could result in poor motor performance. Our warranty and UL certification is tested and based on 60 HRZ. We do not authorize use with 50 HRZ and will take no responsibility for usage with 50HRZ, it is designed for 60HRZ.

The model WL0458-IFPKG can be used with 50 / 60 Hz.
