Hi: I have Spinal Muscular Atrophy and looking for a suitable medical bed for use at home. My requirements are: 1. Adjustable bed height. 2. Raising and lowering head side of bed. 3. Compatible with another bed to be used by my wife. 4. Firm mattress. Currently we use a regular King size bed. Thank you! This bed can meet most of your requirements except the first one. It's bed height is not adjustable. If you need a bed with adjustable bed height, you may consider one of the hospital beds.

How low does this luxury adjustable bed go? The height of this bed is fixed. It is about 16" without the mattress. With mattress which is 9 1/4" thick the total height is about 25 1/4" high.
