Can the half bed rails be lowered for the patient to get into the bed?
Yes, the half rails can be lowered down for the top edge to be lower than the surface of the mattress top so that you can transfer patient into the bed. The rails are attached to the bed frame and tighened by the knob. You can loosen the knob to lower down the rails for patient transfer.
How do you get this bed rail to drop down do you have to turn the knob on the front and tighten it weh you bring it back up? Thank you, Deb
You can drop it down by turning the knob on the front to loosen or tighten it.
I don't see this particular bedrail on the page with the beds....
As shown on the picture above, this half rail works with the WhisperLite II Full- and Semi- Electric Hospital Beds although only the full rails are shown on the bed pages.
