I am trying to figure out the model I have. The controller says SP2-B. I am looking to buy another chair so I would like to know which of the other models is the same as mine. Thank you.
Sorry the controller number does not help determine the model of the chair. Since the controller has been upgraded and modified in the past. You need to know which model of lift chair you currently have. The chair should come with labels showing such information.
Does the Maxi comfort chair have heat in it?
The maxi-comfort model it self does not have heat in it. But you can select the HV2000 heater and vibrator (massager) function added to the chair as upgrade. These functions may not be needed by all the consumers and are therefore not available as default settings.
Does the Maxi-Comfort chair lay completely flat?
The Maxi-Comfort chair model PR-505S is built with 2 motors controlling the back and legrest. The chair can lay completely flat and the leg can even go above the heart postion which is called trendelenburg position, the standard first aid position for some health conditions such as shock. The back and leg movements are independent from each other which means that you can adjust just the back or leg without moving that other.
