I am looking for a power lift recliner for my mother who has severe osteoporosis and multiple compression fractures of the spine. Because of her osteoporosis she went from 5'4" to 4'7". Is there a power lift recliner that would fit her? Thank you!

What models of power lift recliners have the back and the foot lift separate? I assume that each is powered individually so that the user can have the back straight up while resting their feet and legs on the footrest. Is this correct?

Only the MaxiComfort or infinite position models such as this relaxer lift recliner chair can have the back rest and foot rest operated independently. Since they comes with two separate motors to control the back and foot rests respectively. So you can have the back straight up while resting the feet and legs on the footrest.
