Also, can you guys ship this thing outside USA? | | Most of the airplane isle width is 21" and depending on the class of the seating it may go up to 24". This model and the 16" aircraft wheelchair model (as seen on the following web page) can be used push up to the gate, and the flight crew may transfer the patient to their handicap dolly of 16" overall width seat and then transfer the patient into the plane using the dolly.
There is no wheelchair on market that can be used on the airplane, you need to make special arrangement with airline to make sure they have the handicap dolly on board for patient transfer on the plane such as going to restroom. You can carry our travel wheelchair with you on board for patient transportation before and after air traveling.

1.We must know if the arm rests will allow the chair to go against a table for eating? I believe it is called a "desk arm" type.
2.Do the arm rests swing up so the person can get into the chair easily? | | The arm rests can flip up so that it can get out of the way. Depending on the height of the table, the arm rests can either go under the table or flip up a little bit to go beyond the table so that the patient is still protected during eating. |
