The SENTRY 1200 LA (Low Air Loss) Mattress system consists of 20 air cells that, when in the alternating mode, alternately inflate and deflate every five minutes.

The alternating pressure relief combined with low air loss reduces tissue interface while stimulating peripheral circulation. Encasing each mattress system is a moisture-proof, vapor permeable coverlet which allows for breathability and comfort while preventing shear and friction.

  • Alternating pressure relief.
  • Low Air Loss (option on Sentry 1200 LA).
  • Customized settings based on a patient's weight.
  • Visual displays of actual delivered pressure.
  • Internal sensors automatically readjust air pressure.
  • Retains air in case of power failure.
  • Air flotation mode.
  • Maximum inflate/firm mode.
  • Controller can also operate SenTech AIR CHAIRS.
  • Three models available:

How does the overlay mattress stay on the regular mattress? I was just wondering if there are staps on it to prevent it from moving when a person is getting out of bed.
The mattress overlay is just put on top of the regular mattress for support. In most cases, hospital beds are used with side rails to prevent the patient from falling off the bed. Even without the rails, the overlay will not add too much chance for the patient to get out of bed. A better choice is to get a mattress replacement system with a 2" - 3" supporting pad built in under the air cell layer. So there is no chance for the two layers to slide and separate. But again, to prevent the patient from getting out of bed, it is better to use a set of bed rails that serve for this purpose.
How long does regular shipping take?
