  • The SenTech Stage IV 3000 System offers 3 individual pressure zones for maximum patient comfort and therapy: the head, trunk and foot sections can each be individually customized.
  • Provides alternating pressure relief and low air loss.
  • The sensor technology sense changes in the patient's position and automatically adjust the airflow to compensate for these changes.

Do you rent this bed or sell refurbished beds . I have been looking for the most comfortable low air loss alternating mattress for my handicapped son weight 60 lbs. He has tried several beds , and so far they are just too hard and I have to pad them to make them comfortable enough for him . He has a bedsore on his back that Im trying to heal with nutrition and Allevyn Pads. I also removed a cell on his current bed to create a void for his bedsore to fall in . Jason severe scoliosis and kyphosis . Thank You, Debbie Capell
Sorry, this alternating pressure mattress is only available for sale not for rent and we only sell brand new one. The mattress is one of the most powerful one used to prevent and heal even the most advanced stage of bedsore on the homecare market.
Do you have a therapeutic pressure relief mattress to fit a 48" wide bariatric bed? He has a detritus ulcer, very large between stage 3 and 4. Medicare says they will not provide mattress for that size bed so we are looking ourselves. He is at home and a paraplegic. We are not getting any guidance from the doctors of nurses. I just want him to get better.
Yes, you come to the right place. We do carry several models of extra wide alternating pressure mattresses that target all stages especially the later ones like stages III and IV. Please consider the following models.

The best model that proves to be one of the most effective on the home care market for even the latest stage of bed sore, the following one is highly recommended for your situation:

The lest expensive model that can heal most of the bed sore stages, you can consider the following model if saving money is your concern:

I currently have a Sentry 1000, the doctor feels that this is not sufficient for my wifes problems, she recently had skin flaps done and may need a new mattress. Is the Sentry 1000 a stage IV mattress and should I change....
The Sentry 1000 is a low level product targeting only early stages of bedsore up to II. It is usually used for prevention and can not heal stages more than II. It is apparently not able to handle stage IV. This model has been discontinued several years ago. So your doctor is right that you may need to consider this stage IV 3000 model with higher healing power for the most advanced stages.
My Mom has pressure sores, and her current bed (at the hospital) has "heal relief". It seems this has a separate zone for the feet, so the pressure could be adjusted lower, providing that heal relief? I'm not clear how the settings work, but I'm guessing you can set a range and time interval for each section. Also .. The bed I have at home is an Invacare and looks to be about 3' x 7'. I guess that is standard, and seems it would fit the mattress shown on your page?
Yes, this stage IV mattress offers 3 pressure zones for head, trunk and feet that can be adjusted so that the pressure level at the trunk part is different from the rest part of the mattress. This function is the same as the "heal relief" that you mention although we call it in different term which is pressure zone customization. The mattress is 36" x 80" which is for a standard size hospital bed.
Does this bed typically include the frame as well or just the mattress itself? Thank you
It only includes the mattress and controller. The bed frame in the picture is used to show how it is used and how it looks when used on the bed. It can be any bed frame that can be used together with the mattress - homecare bed, long term hospital bed or home style bed.
Is this new or a reconditioned system?
It is a brand new model. We only sell brand new products. We offer our customers the best prices on the market based on the high volume that we sell.
Does this product make it so the patient does not need to be turned every 2 hours. Do they ever have to be turned on this bed? Can they go through the night without being turned on this type of bed. Thanks, Wayne & Laurie Scott
As you know, bed sores are mainly caused by certain body spots being pressed for too long and the pressure is not appropriately relieved. You as caregiver turn the patient side to side and get him / her off the back since the turing will help relieve pressure some how.

However, studies show that lateral turning is not the best way to relieve pressure under the body. Even the automated lateral rotation can not completely relieve pressure so as to heal or even prevent bed sores (not to mention manual turning).

The best technologies for pressure relief are 1) alternating pressure and 2) low air loss that can spread the pressure throughout the body surface so that the pressure will not concentrate on the same spots. This Stage IV 3000 mattress combines the two powered with micro sensor and micro processor based intelligence so that it will achieve the best preventional and theraputic effects. The patient does not need to be turned side to side using such a mattress.

The Stage IV 3000 mattress is one of the best bedsore healing system on the homecare market. It will heal and prevent even the most advanced stage bedsores effectively. Caregiver needs to make sure that the product is properly set up and used. Usually patient does not need to be turned through the night.
can you give me a price and specifications on lateral turning mattresses especailly need to know if the air flow continues when the user is in a sitting position
The stage IV 3000 is alternating pressure mattress with low air loss. The following is lateral rotation mattress.

Both of them works even when the bed head side is raised up.
What is the difference between the MRS version of this mattress and the "replacement mattress version, which is much less expensive?
MRS means mattress replacement system that is a full system including the mattress and controller. The replacement mattress is only the air mattress (air cells and tubings, etc.) itself without the controller.

For some reasons, someone may need another mattress to use with a controller that is pre-owned.

One customer for example, purchased a bariatric model of the stage IV 3000 mattress for home use. This gives him a lot of space. Later, he wanted to set up a motor home for travel and needed to set up the mattress system inside the motor home for continued prevention / healing during the trip. Due to limited space in the motor home, he chose to get another regular size replacement mattress only to work with the controller for the pre-owned bariatric model of the stage IV 3000 mattess. This saved him money for the part of extra controller and worked really well.

But without a pre-owned controller, you will need the whole system.
Which is the best matress for a patient with grade IV pressure sore? Also I am writing from Portugal and would like information on how to recieve one of your matresses. I would apreciate a response as soon as possible. Thank you, Manuela Valente RN Thank you
The stage IV 3000 model is the best mattress on the home care market for healing bedsore at the most advanced stage such as IV. Please read the product benefits, features and specifications for details. It has been sold to customers world wide including many consumers in Europe with power settings that fit the local requirements.

There are 3 major types of the mattress - hospital grade mattress replacement system, home care mattress replacement system and overlay (used on top of an existing mattress). You can choose one based on what you need. You can also choose extra coverlet that can be machine washable so that they can be used in turns.

We ship the product world wide. Please let us know which models and accessories you would like to purchase and your address so that we can quote you the total price including shipping cost.
Does the mattress stay inflated should there be a power failure? Does this mattress sit on the bed frame itself or does it sit on a regular mattress on the bed? How does this mattress assembly compare with the HILL-ROM Eclipse mattress assembly?
The stage IV 3000 mattress stay inflated for up to 24 hours and there is also 2" foam under the air cells to support in case of power failure. If you choose a mattress replacement system (MRS), it can be used alone on a bed frame. If you choose an overlay, you need a regular mattress underneath.

The assembly is simpler compared to Hill-Rom Eclipse that is designed (at double or triple the price) mainly for hospital environment operated by trained professionals. While the stage IV is designed for both facilities and homecare environments. Both of the models are top line models effective enough in healing advanced stage pressure sores.
If the bladder cell is damaged, how can I fix or replace it?
If the damage is not so severe, you can fix it using the kit that comes in the package. Otherwise, you can order extra replacement cells. Just unplug the broken one and plug in the new one. That's it!!!
I want to buy this product, but our company is in Mexico, how can we buy it?
Yes, we do ship to Mexico as well as any where in the world. Please let us know your exact address in Mexico and the model of interest so we will calculate the total cost for you.
DOES THE BED HAVE INDEPENDENT ADJUSTABLE CELLS SUCH AS HEAD RIBS HIPS FEET.....I AM A QUADRIPLEGIC AND I NEED THE RIB AREA TO BE SOFTER THAN THE REST OF THE BED.....IF THIS BED DOES NOT HAVE THESE OPTIONS DO YOU HAVE ONE THAT DOES....IM TRYING TO REPLACE A FLEXICARE ECLISPE
This model Stage IV 3000 features 3 different pressure zones - the head, trunk and feet for maximum comfort and therapeutic effect. So you can make reb area softer than the rest of the bed. This model is known to be among the best for healing advanced stage sores.
What are the differences between Stage IV 2000 (SYS2000) and Stage IV 3000 (SYS3000)?
Both of them are used to heal pressure sores of advanced stages. The major difference is that the model 2000 has a standard design with the same pressure zone for the whole body, while the model 3000 offers 3 individual pressure zones for the head, trunk and foot sections that can be individually customized for maximum patient comfort and therapy.

The different pressure zone feature of the model 3000 is very powerful when dealing with bed sores of different degrees at different body locations.
