	The statement about on or off the scooter is referring to the batteries. The batteries can be charged on the scooter or removed from the scooter to charge stand alone. The scooter comes with batteries. It is for any adult weighing up to 250 lbs although the size is relatively small and the weight is low for better portability and easy travel and transportation.
