How difficult is it to assemble the Zenith full electric hospital bed? How long does it typically require to assemble it? What is the weight of the bed in shipping carton? I'm wondering whether we can even lift it to assemble it. Thanks for your help.
The Zenith full electric hospital bed frame is pre-assembled. You do not need to do any assembly for this part. But you need to install the head / foot boards and bed rails (if you select to buy) that are packed in separate boxes. This will take you just several minutes to do with regular tools such as screw driver. The bed is about 300-400 lbs it is easy to move around with the casters and lock in place with safety lockers. This makes it easy for the caregivers in care giving facilities to operate the bed.
You can order the inside delivery service (ZID) so that the driver can bring extra labor to deliver the bed into your home. You just need to open the box and plug the power yourself. The bed works without the head / foot boards and railts but it is recommended to have them for safety reasons.
