All sliding transfer benches can be used by either directions. You can install it in a way to have the grab bar on either right or left sides of your choice although the photo shows a right entry.
can the seat be put on the other side so that the stop can be put on the other side
Yes, the seat can be installed to face the other side.
do you offer leg extensions on any of the shower seats, trench or slider. Do you offer any seat higher that 23"?
The leg extensions fit only the 3 series models such as those with swivel functions.

The headline says the seat can handle 400 pounds, but the specs say 300. Which is it?

Sorry for the confusion. The weight capacity is 400 lbs.
The width of our tub is 30" which is from the inside to the outside. We have a toliet next to the tub to the longest is 30" Is there a sliding model that would fit this?
This model of sliding transfer bench is about 38" wide at the bottom of the base. This is the widest part of the bench. You need to measure your space from inside the tub to the inbound side of the toilet to see if this size will fit.
You can not place the bench over the toilet since it is too long distance from inside of the tub. The bench can not reach the wall this way. Our longest model is about 47" wide that is still not long enough though. So the most feasible approach is the select a standard model and fit it in the space between the wall of the tub and the toilet.
I need a bench like model 61211 but it has to swivel so that I can sit from outside the tub and turn to enter the tub. What do you recommend?
You can select the following sliding transfer bench with molded swivel seat. With this model, you can set the seat facing outside, transfer the patient to the seat, turn the seat 90 degree back to face either directions and slide to transfer into the tub. Or you can also slide and then turn the seat back too. If you want padded seat you can select the sliding transfer bench with padded swival seat accordingly.
can the handle shown on theright side be transfered to the left side I would appreciate an answer asap because i'm moving saturday and need to order one asap
Yes, the handle can be installed at either sides of the bench frame.
Is this bench easy to disassemble for traveling? When it is apart, how many pieces are there? I'm looking for the most compact bench that will take up little room in a suitcase. Would this work?

This item is easy to disassemble and assemble by snap-off and snap-on. The seat back and the legs can be detached. Some people use this item during travel. But depending on the size of your suitcase, this may or may not fit inside. You can use the package that comes with it for traveling. The size of the box is 30" x 19" x 8" and the weight is 16 lbs. You can make your decision accordingly.
