The Stand-N-Ride Standing Scooter is an outstanding quality scooter with a variety of recreational and commercial applications. It is a simplified mobility scooter that is ideal for use by pre-mobility candidates. It has a powerful, but silent hub motor and has great stability. The riding platform has two smaller wheels on either side with the larger wheel motor in front, so you ride in standing position with your feet placed side-by-side, rather than skateboard-style standing sideways.
It is easy to ride and can be used for many applications.
Some of the most common uses are for:

If I were to remove the handle and battery pack of the Stand-N-Ride Standing Scooter, could I lay it in the trunk, standing or on its side? How hard is it to remove the handle and battery pack? I live in a colder climate and I dont want to have to be struggling in the cold weather taking things apart. Dose the handle scope down at all or must it be removed.
The battery pack is removable by means of the handle that tucks in for when the scooter is used.
The battery pack is easily removable and, yes, it can be placed on its side, upside down, etc. The batteries are sealed and non-spillable.

I am looking for a standing mobility device so I can go on walks with my friends. How slow does it go Is there a cruise control so I dont need to hold down a button during the entire walk
You can control the device speed to make it as slow as you like and as fast as 15 mph. For safety reasons, there is only top speed limit.
Also for safety reasons, there is no cruise control available. Think about this - you will drive this in the street where you need to pay attention to the traffic conditions and control your speed all the time. If you have a "cruise control" set up and just let the vehicle go by itself without speed change, it will be very dangerous. Even when you drive a car, you may be able to use such a cruise control in a free way but not in a local street. There is never a cruise control for a mobility scooter. Hand control of the speed is easy and necessary to drive such a mobility device.
Is any of this scooter covered by Medicare or Medicaid?
This standing scooter is mainly for lesure and transportation. It can also be used as mobility aids. But it is not covered be medicare or medicaid at all. Insurance may not cover it either.
How Well does the Scooter go in Grass and small inclines in Grass?
It works well on grass with Ground Clearance 3" / 75 mm.
1. Does it plug into standard 3-prong 110 outlet?
2. How long does it take for a full charge?
3. What is the range between charges?
4. How does it work? ie Throttle on handlebar for speed?
1) Yes, it plugs into standard 110 power outlet.
2) About 4 hours for a full charge. We do suggest to charge for at least 4 hours to get full charge on the batteries. then charge as needed bases only. Do not leave charger on for more than 12 hours.
3) Up to 20 miles of range between the charges.
4) It has 2 speeds: Low and High - The Throttle is on the right handle bar, right thumb (as seen on the pictures)
