I Am Looking For A Hospital Bed - Questions and Answers
Q: I am very interested in your Semi-Electric Hospital Bed (WL0208) (bed frame only) at the sale price of $580.... regular shipping free. How will this bed arrive - how many packages, by what carrier and how many days to receive it from the date of the order.
A: The bed frame comes with 4 packages. It will be delivered by one of 3 contract trucking companies (possibly Yellow Roadway depending on your location) at no extra charge to you. It may take 2-5 business days depending on your location.
Q: How many men will it take to put this bed together..... is it very heavy.
A: It is the lightest bed in the market - weighing just 154 lbs totally. The bed frame includes the head and foot sections, head and foot boards and accessories such as motor that controls the height of the whole bed, head and foot levels. The heaviest pieces are the head and foot sections which is about 50 lbs each. A single person can install it. If with another one to give minor help, it becomes a lot easier.
Q: Rails are not needed now, but if they ever would be needed can they be added at a later date.
A: Yes, you can buy these bed side accessories any time later.
