Discussion About: Lo-Max Full Electric Low Hospital Bed for Long Term Care
QUESTION: How high off the floor does this bed sit with a mattress on it? My mother is only about 4' 10" and has trouble getting in and out of normal hospital beds.
ANSWER: According to the specifications on the website, the lowest height of the bed frame is 7 1/2". The standard nursing mattress is about 7" thick. So the total height for the lowest position is about 14" from the ground. Since the mattress is not so solid, the actual height may be slightly lower than this.

Tuffy Ultra-Light Detach Arm Transporter / Transport Wheelchair Question: I have four questions:
1. does this chair always come with desk arms? (I do want them)
2. do the handles flair out to be wide enough to fit around the base of the chair when the back is folded down, or are they straight?
3. the view from the back makes the chair look wider at the top and narrow as you look down, does this make the chair top heavy or likely to tip over to the side?
4. how does this chair compare to the "Travel Light 727N". I am considering both of these, and need to buy 2 chairs.
