Discussion About: Rear Wheel Drive Electric Power Chair, Flip-up Footplate
QUESTION: What is the overall weight?
How easy to disassemble?
How heavy is the heaviest part of the disassembled chair?
TZ
ANSWER: The overall weight without batteries is 149 lbs. with batteries is 180 -190 lbs. Usually unlike a scooter, a power chair is not so easy to disassemble. They are not designed and built to be disassembled and assembled by users for technical and safety reasons. If you want something light and easy to disassemble or even fold, you may consider a portable mobility scooter.

Tuffy Ultra-Light Detach Arm Transporter / Transport Wheelchair Question: I have four questions:
1. does this chair always come with desk arms? (I do want them)
2. do the handles flair out to be wide enough to fit around the base of the chair when the back is folded down, or are they straight?
3. the view from the back makes the chair look wider at the top and narrow as you look down, does this make the chair top heavy or likely to tip over to the side?
4. how does this chair compare to the "Travel Light 727N". I am considering both of these, and need to buy 2 chairs.
