QUESTION: How does this model breakdown for storage in a car trunk? Do you have to break it down in 6 pieces? That seems like a lot. What is the heaviest weight of the pieces? Also, what is the warranty on the battery and how much are replacement batteries? ANSWER: Yes, the scooter can break down into 6 pieces. But you do not have to break it down to so many pieces in order to put it in the car trunk. As long as you can lift it up, you can leave 2-3 pieces together as one piece for transfer. The heaviest piece is 25 lbs as described on the website. You can figure out how much weight you can handle by trying. The batteries are warranted for 3 months. Each battery is about $89.
