Electric Mobility Scooter for Travel in Europe - Questions and Answers

  • Q: We are going to Italy in June. My wife has a broken femur and will require some sort of motorized device to get around. Do any of the models you sell have the capability to be charged on US and European Voltages?
    • A: Actually all of our Snazzy series scooters can switch the Voltage between 110 and 220 with a little built-in "switch". The only thing that may not fit is that the shape of plug in Italy may be different from what we use in US. So it is recommended to buy an "Universal Plug Adaptor Kit" in any travel luggage or electronic store before you leave. Such a kit contains different shapes of plug that you can use in any European countries. It is inexpensive in the US but may be (times) a lot more expensive in Europe. Particularly the HS570 model have such a switch that allows to use US and European voltages.
