Sliding Transfer Benches for My Tub - Questions and Answers
Q: I wish I was computer competent and could draw a picture, a regular chair will fit into the tub, its shape on the inside is oval but the outside edge of the tub is wide and has a step on it. my husband can not step over it and needs a transfer bench, the one the medical supply place brought us had a ridge with drain holes to keep the water from going out of the tub but the ridge was on the outside of the tub and the water drained onto the step then the floor. Is this a better explanation?
A: If regular transfer bench fits your tub, any of our sliding transfer benches should fit too. Better than regular models, a sliding transfer bench has much bigger "drain holes" - any where beside the sliding seat can drain. Even the seat has many small holes on it.
